They are our “Spearhead”. Sicilian chopped peeled bitter almonds
Raw and natural product (Rich in Vitamin E and B17, Omega 3 and Omega 6), obtained through the coarse mincing process of peeled bitter almonds. They are ideal as an ingredient for the preparation of typical products such as amaretti cookies or almond paste, which gives them a pleasant aroma. If consumed fresh, moderate use is recommended due to the toxicity caused by the presence of amygdalin (Able of release hydrocyanic acid and present in the armellina of all stone fruits, that is peaches, plums, cherries and apricots). Harvested and dried under the sun of our Sicily, they are produced according to the concept of natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals. Raw Sicilian almond and pistachio paste
Very easy to use, ideal for the preparation of sicilian granita, ice creams, almond milk. Produced exclusively with our sicilian almonds from natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals. Store in a cool, dry place. Vegan. Non GMO.
HOW TO PREPARE THE SICILIAN GRANITA:
Put the almond and pistachio paste and the water in a container (Recommended doses, 500 ml of water for the 200 grams paste or 1250 ml of water for the 500 grams paste), mixed and store in the freezer for 6 hours. Mix from time to time during crystallization. Take the container out of the freezer a few minutes before serving.
Advice: You can add sugar, milk or spices to taste (For example cinnamon).
HOW TO PREPARE THE ALMOND AND PISTACHIO MILK:
Put the almond and pistachio paste and the water in a container (Recommended doses, 500 ml of water for the 200 grams almond paste or 1250 ml of water for the 500 grams paste), blend well until the paste is completely melted. Pour almond and pistachio milk into a bottle and place in the fridge for at least a couple of hours. Keep in the fridge at least 3 days. Shake well before serving.
Advice: You can add sugar, milk or spices to taste (For example cinnamon).
