Small size blood orange (Tarocco)

Recognizable by the slightly rough and reddish zest (Given thanks to the high temperature range between day and night during the ripening time, a typical condition of the microclimate of the Piana di Catania) and the red pigmentation of the pulp, rich in anthocyanins (Many varieties are included such as Tarocco, Moro and Sanguinello, available from mid-December until the end of April). With a stronger flavor, they are the classic small, sweet and juicy red pulp oranges, with fine zest, excellent for squeezing or for preparing many typical recipes. Very rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, mineral salts, fibers and sugars, they are cultivated according to the concept of natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals, shipped within a maximum of 24 hours from the harvest.
